Dr. Kate Edwards is an Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, affiliated with the Sydney School of Health Sciences' Exercise and Sport Science Discipline. She previously held roles at UC San Diego and the University of Birmingham. Her research focuses on exercise's impact on immune function, vaccination efficacy, and cancer treatment. Notable contributions include studies on exercise as an adjuvant to vaccines and intra-infusion exercise during chemotherapy. She leads projects on vaccine pain reduction and women's post-miscarriage physical activity.
