Dr. Kate Absolom is an Associate Professor of Applied Health Research at the University of Leeds, affiliated with the Leeds Institute of Health Sciences and Leeds Institute of Medical Research. Her work focuses on digital approaches to patient-reported outcomes in cancer care, co-leading the Patient Centred Outcomes Research (PCOR) group. She holds a PhD from the University of Sheffield (2006) and a BSc in Psychology from Lancaster University (2000).

Current grants include the NIHR-funded eRAPID data analysis project and the Horizon Europe-backed MyPath initiative. She supervises PhD candidates exploring topics like breast cancer survivorship and oncology nurse burnout.
