Sofia F Garcia is a Professor at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, holding dual appointments in the Departments of Medical Social Sciences and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She serves as Director of the Cancer Survivorship Institute at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she provides psychological treatment through the Supportive Oncology Program.

Recent publications demonstrate expertise in health informatics, measurement science, and telehealth interventions. She collaborates with the Institute for Public Health and Medicine (IPHAM) and Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (NUCATS).
