Kassim Javaid is an Associate Professor and University Lecturer in Metabolic Bone Disease at the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences (NDORMS) within the University of Oxford. He also contributes to the HeLEX Centre for Health, Law and Emerging Technologies.

His research focuses on epidemiology of rare bone diseases, osteoporosis, vitamin D, and secondary fracture prevention.
