Ken Poole

Ken Poole is a Professor of Metabolic Bone Disease at the University of Cambridge, where he applies novel imaging techniques to investigate human bone diseases. Additionally, he manages NHS clinical services for patients with metabolic bone diseases and specialized rheumatology needs.

Research Interests:

• Osteoporosis and osteogenesis imperfecta
• Rare bone diseases
• Micr0 and macroscopic bone structure analysis
• Development of anti-sclerostin therapies
• Improved diagnosis of osteoporosis and vertebral fractures via routine CT imaging
