Michael Amling

Michael Amling is a Professor at the Department of Osteology and Biomechanics at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). His research focuses on skeletal biology, bone metabolism, and musculoskeletal disorders, with expertise in osteoporosis, osteosarcoma, and metabolic bone diseases. He leads multiple DFG-funded projects investigating bone remodeling mechanisms and therapeutic interventions.

Research Interests: Dr. Amling's work spans molecular bone biology, skeletal pathophysiology, and clinical orthopedics. Key areas include:
