Karl E. Seif

Karl E. Seif is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He serves as the Director of the Diabetes in Pregnancy Program at the University of Maryland Medical Center, specializing in antenatal and postpartum care for patients with gestational and pre-existing diabetes. His clinical and research focus spans diabetes in pregnancy, obesity in pregnancy, infectious diseases in pregnancy, preterm labor, and cervical insufficiency.
