Karl Braunschweig is an Associate Professor of Theory at Wayne State University, specializing in intersections between tonal music practice and historical theory, with emphasis on language concepts and aesthetics. He has contributed to journals like Music Theory Spectrum and Journal of Music Theory, and serves on the editorial board for Intégral.
