Karl A. Mitchell

Karl A. Mitchell is a Jamaican-American lecturer, author, consultant, and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, he holds a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees, and is pursuing a doctorate. His work focuses on themes of heritage, cultural identity, and historical narratives, particularly within the African diaspora. Mitchell’s heritage includes Jamaican Maroon ancestry and Jewish heritage, embodying Jamaica’s motto: 'out of many, one people.' He is best known for his novel Afrika’s Struggle: His Experiential Journey, a historical fiction exploring 18th-century slavery and revolution.
