Karen Wendling is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Guelph. She holds a BA from Michigan State University, an MA and PhD from the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on feminist theory, ethics, political philosophy, and institutional analysis, with a particular emphasis on equality, social justice, and participatory democracy. Her work bridges theoretical philosophy with applied ethics, examining issues such as merit in education, institutional inequality, and the ethical implications of pluralistic societies.
Her publications span journals like Les Ateliers d'Ethique, Journal of Philosophical Research, and Canadian Journal of Philosophy, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to topics like feminist theories, game theory in ethics, and Rawlsian political philosophy.
