Dr. Karen Taylor is an Associate Professor in Practice in the School of Education at Durham University. She serves as Director of Education and the Institute of Learning and Teaching at the International School of Geneva (Ecolint), leading pedagogical strategy across eight schools. Her research focuses on Global Citizenship Education, International Mindedness, and inclusive pedagogy, with a historical specialization in women’s education in 18th-century France. Dr. Taylor collaborates with institutions like the University of Geneva and UNESCO through the RIPE network, fostering practitioner-researcher partnerships in plurilingual education contexts. She holds a PhD in History from Georgetown University (USA) and has extensive experience in international education spanning diverse linguistic and cultural settings.
