Dr. Karen Stock is a Professor of Fine Arts at Winthrop University, affiliated with the College of Visual and Performing Arts. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University. Her research focuses on modern and contemporary European art, with a specialization in gender issues in art history. She curated the exhibition 'Performing Gender' at Winthrop and received a Fulbright Scholarship for teaching art history in Beijing, China. Dr. Stock has been teaching at Winthrop since 2004.
