Dr. Karen Marklein serves as Program Director at the Ayers Institute for Learning & Innovation and holds the rank of Assistant Professor in Lipscomb University's College of Education. With 20 years in Sumner County Schools, she taught high school English, acted as a secondary instructional coach, and conducted district-wide teacher evaluations. She currently pursues International Coach Federation certification and serves a three-year term as a CAEP site visitor.
