Robbie Hampton is an Associate Professor in the College of Education at Lipscomb University. She holds a BS in Elementary and Special Education from Middle Tennessee State University, an M.Ed. in Special Education from Vanderbilt University, and an Ed.D. in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change from Lipscomb University. She also holds a graduate certificate in Technology Integration.
Her career spans over 14 years as principal of Harris-Hillman School in Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS), specializing in education for students with multiple disabilities. She currently evaluates teachers and supports IEP development for MNPS. She serves as a national board member for Complex and Chronic Conditions under the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).
Research interests include special education systems, strategic educational change, technology integration in learning, and leadership in complex educational environments. She actively participates in international educational missions to Sierra Leone with The Raining Season organization.
Community involvement includes mission trips focusing on educational outreach and advocacy for students with chronic/complex conditions. Her professional network bridges academia with K-12 special education practice through continuous leadership roles in educational reform initiatives.
