Karen Arm is a Research Group Member at Solent University, specializing in inclusive education and student-centered learning. She holds a PhD in Education from the University of Bristol and is a National Teaching Fellowship Reviewer for AdvanceHE. Her research focuses on culturally inclusive pedagogies, generative AI applications in education, and staff-student partnerships. She is actively involved in editorial roles, including the Educational Developments Editorial Committee (SEDA, 2019–2020).
Her recent publications emphasize strategies for inclusive teaching, co-creation in higher education, and leveraging technology for equitable learning environments. She is currently accepting PhD students for 2024 and collaborates internationally on projects addressing educational equity.
Karen’s work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education, particularly through her contributions to accessible curricula and student empowerment initiatives.
