Kaouther Karoui is a researcher and former doctoral candidate in Philosophy at the University of Münster, affiliated with the Cluster of Excellence 'Religion and Politics'. Her work focuses on theorizing justice within contemporary Arabo-Islamic philosophy, emphasizing postcolonial and transcultural approaches. She completed her PhD under Prof. Franziska Dübgen and Prof. Syrinx von Hees, analyzing the contributions of Fatima Mernissi and Mohammed Arkoun. Karoui holds a Master's and Research Master's from the Institut Supérieur des Sciences Humaines de Tunis.
