K.D. Joshi

Dr. K.D. Joshi is a Professor of Information Systems in the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno. She holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky and advanced engineering degrees from the University of Michigan and University of Delhi. Her research focuses on IT Workforce Issues, Broadening Participation in STEM, Crowdsourcing, and Health IT, with over 5,570 citations (h-index 27). She has secured $5M+ in NSF grants and serves on editorial boards of Information Systems Journal and Journal of AIS.

Education: PhD (1998, University of Kentucky), MS Engineering (1992, University of Michigan), MA (1990) and BA (1988) from University of Delhi.

Research highlights include investigating IT workforce diversity, chronic disease self-management via technology, and ethical AI applications.
