Professor Jürgen Paul is affiliated with the University of Hamburg, where he works at the Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures (CSMC). His research focuses on manuscript cultures, particularly in Iranian and Central Asian history, with emphasis on archival practices, everyday writing, and multilayered textual production.
