Jörn Basel is a Professor at the Lucerne School of Business (HSLU), part of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, where he leads research in the Institute of Tourism and Mobility (ITM). His professional journey includes roles as a Professor of Business Psychology at Kalaidos FH Schweiz (2013-2020) and as a Researcher at ESCP Business School Berlin (2008-2012). He holds a Dr. rer. pol. from ESCP Business School Berlin and a Dipl.-Psych. from Heidelberg University.
His research focuses on applied decision research, behavioral insights, trust and risk perception, and organizational behavior.
