Jérôme Doyon is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for International Relations (CERI) at Sciences Po Paris, and an affiliate of the Lau China Institute at King's College London (School of Global Affairs, Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy). His research focuses on Chinese politics, with a concentration on the inner workings of the Chinese Communist Party's governance structures, elite political dynamics, youth political organizations, and policies toward ethno-religious minorities.
In June 2024, he received a grant from the Independent Social Research Foundation to investigate the globalization of the Chinese Communist Party’s organizational networks. This research explores how the Party’s institutions engage globally, a critical yet understudied dimension of China’s rise as a geopolitical actor.
No scientific awards are explicitly mentioned, but his grant-funded work highlights ongoing contributions to understudied aspects of Chinese political studies. No student advisees or lab affiliations are detailed in the provided text.
