Justine Potts

Dr. Justine Potts is Junior Research Fellow in Classics at St John's College, University of Oxford, specializing in religious and intellectual history of the Roman Empire. Her research employs comparative approaches to examine the development of religious confession practices and the emergence of monotheism.

Key research areas include:

• Social and cultural history of confession practices in Greco-Roman world
• Comparative analysis of monotheistic transitions in Roman Empire and ancient South Arabia
