Jurgen Goossens is an Associate Professor of Constitutional and Administrative Law at Tilburg Law School, with a secondary affiliation to the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT). He is renowned for leading the interdisciplinary NWO-funded project Blockchain in the Network Society: In Search of Transparency, Trust, and Legitimacy, focusing on the legal implications of algorithmic governance and distributed technologies in public administration.

Recent Publications & Projects span blockchain applications in public governance, comparative constitutional law analyses, and interdisciplinary studies on digital society. His work has been funded with €1 million, 75% from NWO and 25% from a consortium of 12 public and private entities.

Teaching Expertise covers Introduction to Constitutional Law, Legal Protection against the Government, and advanced courses on administrative law. He holds a Senior Teaching Qualification and actively participates in educational innovation projects.
