Esther Keymolen is a Full Professor of Digital Technology Regulation at Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT) and Vice Dean of Research at Tilburg Law School. She combines philosophy of technology, postphenomenology, and STS to analyze trust, privacy, and ethics in data-driven environments.

Key article trends since 2023 show focus on AI ethics, blockchain legitimacy, and digital governance. These works emphasize socio-technical mediation, epistemic trust, and systemic disinformation challenges.

She teaches Data Ethics and Entrepreneurship at JADS and has advised the Dutch Ministry of Finance, Eindhoven Municipality, and National Police on ethical digitization. Her NWO MVI project CHAIN investigates blockchain’s role in public trust-building.
