Jungwon Kim serves as the King Sejong Assistant Professor of Korean Studies within Columbia University's Department of East Asian Languages & Cultures, appointed in 2013 after previous positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton (2012-2013).
