Jung Ho Choi is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Stanford Graduate School of Business and Business School Trust Faculty Scholar (2024-2025). He earned a Ph.D. from University of Chicago Booth School of Business, M.A. in Statistics from Columbia University, and B.A. in Economics from Korea University.
His research investigates how accounting disclosures impact labor markets, examining: (1) How financial reporting affects corporate decisions and worker outcomes; (2) How employees use corporate information in job searches; and (3) How labor inputs shape disclosure practices. Additional work explores how cost disclosures influence productivity and innovation.
He teaches Financial Accounting and PhD seminars. Previously, he worked as a financial adviser at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Recognitions include the Fletcher Jones Faculty Scholar award.
