Professor Cuny earned her B.S. in Analytical Finance and M.S. in Accounting from Wake Forest University, followed by an MBA and Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Previously, she worked as an equity research associate at Morgan Stanley and an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she specialized in property and casualty insurance and banking sectors. Her methodological approach combines empirical analysis of disclosure behavior with market reaction studies in both municipal and corporate bond markets.
