Brandon Gipper is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business (GSB). He holds a PhD from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and has prior experience as an Assurance Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers and a finance intern at General Motors. His research focuses on financial reporting transparency, auditing practices, and the economic consequences of corporate governance mechanisms. Key areas of interest include ESG assurance, executive compensation disclosure, and the impact of fraudulent reporting on stakeholders.
