Dr. Junfeng Wang is an Associate Professor at the School of Public Management and Policy, University of Illinois Springfield, and serves as the Interim Director for her school. She earned her Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2008.

Her research focuses on environmental policies, nonprofit leadership, and MPA education, with a book chapter contribution to Community Action Leaders: Rooting out Poverty at the Local Level (Routledge, 2016). Recent publications include studies on aging populations in China and youth leadership programs in the Journal of Extension, reflecting interdisciplinary work in public health and policy.
Dr. Wang teaches courses such as PAD503 Analytical Tools, PAD506 Public Policy for Managers, and PAD654 Research Design, contributing to graduate and undergraduate public administration training.
