معرفی
Jun Li is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Ecotoxicology at the University of York's Department of Environment & Geography. He works on the WormERES project, funded by Syngenta, focusing on developing earthworm population models for pesticide risk assessment. Previously, he contributed to the European iPiE project on pharmaceuticals in the environment with Prof. Alistair Boxall.
Education:
- PhD in Environmental Science, University of York (UK)
- MSc in Environmental Science and Management, University of York (UK)
- B.E. in Environmental Engineering, Anhui Polytechnic University (China)
Research Interests: Jun's work centers on environmental risk assessment, particularly pharmaceutical sorption in soils/sediments and ecotoxicological modeling. His research aims to inform regulatory decisions and reduce reliance on field studies through computational models.
Publications: His recent work emphasizes model development for predicting pharmaceutical behavior in environmental systems, contributing to sustainable risk assessment frameworks.
Labs/Teams: Collaborates with Professors Mark Hodson and Colin Brown on the WormERES initiative and previously with Prof. Boxall on iPiE.
