Dr. Jun-Feng Wang is a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. He serves as Principal Investigator in the Neuroscience Research Program at the Kleysen Institute for Advanced Medicine. His research focuses on chronic stress, depression, and Alzheimer’s disease, particularly mechanisms of oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, and the role of the NLRP3 inflammasome. Techniques employed include cell culturing, real-time PCR, gene knockdown, and animal behavioral testing.
