Dr. Jack Green is a Researcher in the Division of Neuroscience, specializing in neuroinflammation and immunology. His work focuses on inflammasome biology, cytokine signaling, and their roles in diseases like stroke and malaria. He collaborates internationally on projects exploring mechanisms of neuroinflammation and translational research in brain disorders.
Research Interests: Neuroinflammation, Immunology, Cytokine Signaling, Inflammatory Disorders, Stroke Pathology, and Cellular Immunology. His studies use murine models and experimental systems to investigate how inflammasome activation contributes to disease progression and potential therapeutic targets.
Collaborations include projects on DNA-sensing inflammasomes in stroke and cerebral malaria pathogenesis. Recent articles highlight discoveries in inflammasome inhibitors, cytokine nuclear interactions, and lymphatic drainage mechanisms in cerebral edema. His research contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being.
Key projects involve neuroinflammation mechanisms and translational research in brain disorders. He has co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed articles on topics such as NLRP3 inhibition, AIM2 inflammasomes, and stroke pathophysiology.
