Julie MacEvoy

Julie MacEvoy is an Associate Professor of the Practice and Program Director of the School Counseling, M.A. program at Boston College's Lynch School of Education and Human Development. She holds a Ph.D. from Duke University and additional certifications in Developmental Psychology. Her expertise focuses on children's social and emotional development, including friendship dynamics, cognitive development, and interventions for improving peer relationships.

Her academic background includes roles at Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She teaches courses such as Child Growth and Development, Family, School, and Society, and Ethical and Legal Issues in School Counseling.
