Julie Carr is a Professor of English and Creative Writing at the University of Colorado Boulder, and Chair of the Women and Gender Studies Department. She holds a dual appointment in Creative Writing and Literature. Her work bridges poetry, prose, and interdisciplinary projects, focusing on themes of cultural history, violence, and Jewish studies. Carr co-founded Counterpath Press, Counterpath Gallery, and Counterpath Community Garden in Denver, fostering experimental art and literature.
