Dr.-Ing. Julia von Mende is an architectural theorist and researcher at the Institute for European Urban Studies (IfEU) at Bauhaus University Weimar since 2020. She holds a postdoctoral research associate position and focuses on interdisciplinary investigations of spatial structures and everyday practices like eating and domestic life.
- Education: Architecture studies at TU Berlin (1996-2003) and KTH Copenhagen
- Key roles: Teaching scientific work fundamentals/methods in B.Sc. Urbanistik and M.Sc. programs; editorship of IfEU's publication series (2020-2021)
