Julia Schwarzkopf

Professor Julia Schwarzkopf is faculty at HTW Berlin (Berlin University of Applied Sciences) in the Department of Business and Legal Studies, specializing in Sustainability Management. She teaches in both the International Business Bachelor's and Master's programs with a dedicated focus on environmental sustainability.

Her research concentrates on Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Sector Initiatives, CSR Audits, Sustainability Reporting, and Human Rights Due Diligence following OECD guidelines. Professor Schwarzkopf serves as the Liaison Lecturer for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and maintains an active research portfolio with 8 current projects.

With 40 publications to her name, her scholarly work demonstrates consistent contribution to sustainability management literature, particularly examining corporate responsibility frameworks and supply chain transparency mechanisms.

Professor Schwarzkopf has supervised 3 doctoral candidates and currently manages thesis supervision with specific capacity constraints - no openings for winter 2025/26 but accepting inquiries for summer 2026 between November 15-30. She maintains strict email protocols, responding only to messages from official HTW email accounts and rejecting attachments in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint formats.
