Julee Holcombe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of New Hampshire. She specializes in photography, with a focus on documentary and visual storytelling. Her teaching includes courses such as Intro Digital Photography, Photography Workshop, and Darkroom Techniques, spanning from 2015 to 2025. Holcombe holds a B.F.A. in Photography and Sculpture from the University of New Mexico and an M.F.A. in Photography from the Maryland Institute. Her research interests bridge photography's role in cultural geography and rural studies, as seen in her 2009 article Sense of place.
