Judy TenElshof is a Professor of Spiritual Formation and Marriage and Family at Biola University's Talbot School of Theology. She serves as Director of the Spiritual Formation Core Program and Associate Director of the Center for Spiritual Renewal. Her roles include overseeing the Institute for Spiritual Formation and founding the Hilltop Renewal Center for Christian leaders. She holds a Ph.D. in Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary, alongside multiple master’s degrees from Fuller and Talbot.
Her research focuses on Spiritual Formation, Marriage and Family dynamics, and the integration of spiritual renewal in ministry contexts. She has authored/co-authored books such as Women and Men in Ministry and contributed to publications like the Journal of Psychology and Theology.
She is affiliated with organizations including the American Association of Christian Counselors and the Evangelical Theological Society. Her work emphasizes practical applications of spiritual growth, counseling, and character development in Christian leadership contexts.
