Berry Bishop serves as an Assistant Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy and Associate Director of the Institute of Spiritual Formation (ISF) and Marriage and Family Therapy programs at Biola University's Talbot School of Theology. She holds a PsyD from Azusa Pacific University, an M.A. in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care from Talbot, and additional degrees from California State University, Chico and Butte College. Her primary research focuses on trauma and spiritual direction, alongside clinical practice as a psychologist.

Bishop is affiliated with the American Psychological Association (Division 36), Evangelical Spiritual Directors Association, and honor societies Phi Kappa Phi and Scholastic Honors Society. She balances academic roles with clinical work and is married with three children.
