Megen Phillips is an Assistant Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy and Director of Clinical Training at Biola University’s Talbot School of Theology. She holds degrees from Vanguard University (B.A., M.S.) and Biola University’s Talbot Theological Seminary (M.A.). Her expertise bridges clinical psychology and theology, emphasizing the integration of faith and mental health. Phillips teaches courses such as TTFT 621, 663, 664, and 791, focusing on family dynamics, professional development, and clinical practicum. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), practicing at a Christian nonprofit in Costa Mesa.
Her presentations include talks at Alt Summit (2020), Long Beach All-City Marriage Conference (2016), Torrey Memorial Bible Conference (2014), and others, addressing topics like family conflict, relationship maintenance, and spiritual wellness. Phillips also serves as a spiritual director and has prior experience in church youth ministry and administrative roles at Biola’s Institute for Spiritual Formation (ISF).
