Judy Barker serves as Language Adviser and Lecturer at the University of Worcester's Centre for Academic English and Skills since 2006. Her roles focus on English language assessment, online learning methodologies, and teaching practices in EFL (English as a Foreign Language). She holds qualifications from Radboud University (Netherlands) and Oxford University (Manchester Harris College), with a PGCE in TEFL.
Her professional experience includes teaching in Dutch secondary schools, adult education, and further education institutions before relocating to the UK in 1994. She has also conducted GCSE and A-level Dutch oral examinations and taught Dutch language courses.
Research interests emphasize digital pedagogy and adaptive learning systems, with a particular focus on integrating technology into language assessment frameworks.
