Lucy Shakespeare

Lucy Shakespeare serves as a Senior Lecturer at Regent's School of English, Regent's University London. With a decade of experience in the EFL industry, she teaches general English and exam preparation to diverse international students in a modern campus located in Regent's Park.

Her academic and professional qualifications are extensive:

• Cambridge DELTA (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Lord Byron College, Bari, Italy
• EDI Advanced Level 5 certificate in TEFL from i to i TEFL and Islington centre for English
• Cambridge TKT- CLIL and Young Learners
• LLB law degree from the University of East Anglia, Norwich
• Legal Practice course- Postgraduate diploma in Law from the College of Law, London

Ms. Shakespeare's expertise centers on English Language Teaching (ELT), Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), Teacher Training, and Language Assessment. She is dedicated to fostering autonomous learning among her students and has served as a Cambridge exams speaking examiner and DELTA tutor.

Throughout her career, she has held roles including English language teacher, teacher trainer, assistant director of studies, and examiner. Her international experience spans universities in Vietnam and Malaysia, and she spent eight years in Italy developing her DELTA qualifications. Outside academia, she pursues tennis, photography, painting, and travel.
