Judith Volmer

Prof. Dr. Judith Volmer is Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology at the University of Bamberg, where she serves as Managing Director of the Institute of Psychology and Head of the Psychology Department. She is affiliated with the Faculty of Human Sciences and Education, contributing significantly to both teaching and research in organizational psychology.

She employs innovative methodologies including daily diary studies and experience sampling to capture dynamic workplace processes.

Her recent publications demonstrate a strong trend toward examining leadership from multiple angles, particularly servant leadership and its effects, digital leadership approaches, and the reciprocal relationships between leadership behaviors and well-being. There's also significant focus on career development tools, including AI-based applications, and the psychological mechanisms that connect work experiences to health outcomes.
