Judith Prat

Judith Prat is a part-time faculty member at City University of Seattle, Vancouver campus with 16 years of experience as a Registered Clinical Counsellor. She teaches Human Sexuality (redesigned to include Sex Therapy) and Group Therapy courses while adjudicating oral exams and providing Intern supervision for the university. Her private practice specializes in Sex Therapy and clinical supervision of practicum students and professional counsellors as a BCACC Approved Clinical Supervisor.

Her educational qualifications include:

• Master of Education (MEd)

Her research and professional focus centers on Sex Therapy and Clinical Supervision, informed by 15 years teaching Health Education at the University of British Columbia where she also managed the Wellness Centre for a decade and conducted Instructional Skills Workshops for professors. She implements a student-centered teaching philosophy emphasizing participatory activities to foster engagement with course content and peer interaction.

As a BCACC Approved Clinical Supervisor, she provides formal supervision for practicum students and professional counsellors while continuing adjudication duties for CityU oral examinations.
