Jude Marleau serves as Associate Faculty in the Master of Counselling Program at City University's Vancouver Island campus since 2021, teaching Group Counselling, Psychology of Trauma and Interpersonal Violence, and Couples Counselling through virtual platforms with an emphasis on social justice integration.
Her professional background includes a Master of Education (M.Ed.) and credentials as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC-ACS) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). With over 30 years in private practice, she specializes in trauma therapy and professional supervision.
Dr. Marleau's clinical and academic work centers on trauma recovery, interpersonal violence intervention, couples therapy, and embedding social justice frameworks in counselling education. She actively mentors students through exam evaluation and capstone review while serving as Supervisor and Counsellor Trainer at Victoria Citizens’ Counselling Centre.
