Judith Haas is an Associate Professor of English at Rhodes College, where she has taught since 2002. Her research and teaching focus on medieval literature, feminist theory, and gender studies. She holds a Ph.D. in Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a B.A. from Wesleyan University (Phi Beta Kappa).

Her scholarship examines intersections of gender, sexuality, and medieval literature, including a notable 2008 publication on sodomy and marriage politics in the Roman d'Eneas. Haas has played a pivotal role in shaping Rhodes’ Sex/Gender Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct Policy and served as secretary-treasurer for the college’s Phi Beta Kappa chapter.
