Sara Jane Miles is a Professor of French and the Service Learning Coordinator in the Department of Modern Languages at Nebraska Wesleyan University. She teaches a broad range of courses in French language, literature, film, and culture, including specialized topics such as Medieval French Literature, Francophone African and Canadian literature, and thematic seminars like 'Midnight in Paris' and 'Haiti Reimagined.' She is actively involved in student engagement through study abroad programs and service learning initiatives.

Dr. Miles is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF), the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), and the Société Rencesvals. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in 1993.
