Judith A. Thompson is the King’s Inglis Professor and Professor of English at Dalhousie University, located within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Her research focuses on British Romantic literature, with special emphasis on the Wordsworth Circle, John Thelwall, and Romantic women writers. She has edited John Thelwall’s *The Peripatetic* and is working on a book about Thelwall’s role in the Wordsworth Circle. Her interests also include dialogic approaches, genre studies, and radical literature.
Dr. Thompson holds a BA from Western University (1979), and MA and PhD from the University of Toronto. She joined Dalhousie in 1988 after teaching at the University of Alberta. She teaches courses on women’s writing, poetic voice, and postmodern literature.
Her current projects include editing a Thelwall digital archive (*Citizen John*) and a biography of Thelwall. She has co-edited works such as *Literary Couplings* (2023), exploring authorship and collaboration.
