Elisa Cozzi is a Lecturer in English at Somerville College and a Post-Award Member of The Queen's College, University of Oxford. Her research focuses on Irish-Italian literary networks during the Romantic period, with a particular emphasis on the Shelley circle. She holds a PhD from Oxford, supervised by Fiona Stafford, analyzing manuscript exchanges between Ireland and Italy (1785–1835). Funded by Clarendon and Baillie Gifford scholarships, her work bridges literary history and digital humanities.

Her research interests include manuscript culture, cosmopolitan poetics, and literary coteries. Current projects involve co-authoring studies on Lady Mount Cashell’s unpublished novel and John Taaffe’s translations of Dante.
