Joyce Strawser is Dean of Seton Hall University's Stillman School of Business and Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting and Taxation. She joined in 1995, previously serving as Associate Dean for Undergraduate and MBA Curricula (2001–2010). Her research focuses on financial reporting's societal impacts and managerial accounting's ethical dimensions. She developed Seton Hall's Financial Instruments course integrating accounting and finance perspectives.

Dr. Strawser chairs the AACSB International Board of Directors and has authored/co-authored over 20 publications in accounting journals including Journal of Business Ethics and Journal of Accounting Education. Her 2021 Journal of Small Business Management paper pioneered global frameworks for women's entrepreneurship. She co-authored the Corporate Controller's Manual chapter on postretirement benefits accounting.
Honored as 2021 NJBIZ Best 50 Women in Business and contributor to AACSB's accreditation standards through her book Exemplars of Assessment in Higher Education. Leads Stillman School's AACSB dual accreditation maintenance and Master's Accounting programs ranked top-5 nationally for ROI.
