Joshua Yuvaraj is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and a Senior Fellow at Melbourne Law School. He holds a PhD and a BA/LLB (Hons) from Monash University, where he was awarded the Mollie Holman Medal for best Law thesis in 2021. His research focuses on copyright, technology regulation, privacy, and the intersection of artificial intelligence with intellectual property frameworks. He employs both doctrinal and empirical methods to explore these areas.
Teaching responsibilities include Contract Law, Privacy Law, and Copyright and Design at the University of Auckland, as well as Copyright Law in the Melbourne Law Masters program. He is actively engaged in supervising honours and postgraduate research in his areas of expertise.
Key achievements include the Mollie Holman Medal, and he remains open to research collaborations in AI, technology regulation, and IP law. His work bridges doctrinal analysis with contemporary challenges posed by emerging technologies.
